What does a Patient Advocacy Group do?
CaSR Patient Support is an advocacy group for patients of chronic endocrine disorders involving calcium regulation, such as hypoparathyroidism.
Our mission is to:
- promote awareness,
- provide knowledge and support, and
- improve health outcomes for patients.
As an advocacy group, we strive to ensure that the voices of patients are heard and their needs are addressed in policy-making and decision-making processes. We also provide resources, education, and support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to improve the quality of life for those affected by these conditions. Overall, our goal is to empower patients and advocate for their rights and well-being.
