Peter Phipps from the School of GUSS has been engaged by the Cultural Development Network (CDN) to undertake a research project that look at the traditional knowledge of bark canoe building in Aboriginal communities of the Lake Tyres region. The project brings together elders with young Aboriginal men and will explore the impact of the knowledge and skills exchange that takes place between the elder and the young male participants.
