BetterEvaluation is an international collaboration which aims to improve evaluation through sharing and creating knowledge about how to appropriately choose and use evaluation methods and processes.

It provides a platform for a network of individuals and organisations across the world to share resources and to create new knowledge through documenting and analysing examples of practice and addressing particular challenges together. The BetterEvaluation website provides evaluators and those commissioning evaluations with relevant, credible, interactive and up to date information and guidance about choosing and using evaluation methods and approaches. It includes descriptions of various methods and processes, advice on when to choose them and how to use them well, and links to detailed guidance and examples.

RMIT is one of four founding partners, along with Pact, an international non-government organisation, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), a UK-based think tank on international development, and the Institutional Learning and Change initiative (ILAC) of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).
